Bullet Grove
This small, flat area of land is almost completely covered in vegetation that is surprisingly thriving. The trees and bushes are almost growing out of control, and there's an explanation. During the human war, a type of bullet was developed that was designed to cause cells to rapidly preform mitosis, much like a cancer. In humans, this would act quickly, crush organs, and kill the victim. In plants, it's quite different. A large infantry battle occurred here during the war, and the trees were pelted with these bullets, leaving small holes in the bark, which gave this grove of trees it's name. For horses, the vegetation is perfectly fine to eat, but it's easy to get lost in the trees.
